Mandy’s father, Tim McQuay, is one of NRHA’s most highly respected members, as a Multi-Million Dollar Rider, Owner, and Breeder. Tim and Colleen owned two record-setting sires: Gunner and Hollywood Dun It.After transitioning to the world of reining, Mandy was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011 and became the only 3 Million Dollar Non-Pro Rider in 2021. Similar to Tom, reining was quick to become Cade’s obsession. He began showing in 2007 as a youth competitor and has been setting records ever since. For Cade, horse training is more than a job, “It’s a true passion,” he says, “I couldn’t shake it if I wanted to.” Since his transition into the open arena, Cade has been persistent in being the best. During his first Open Show Season in 2019, Cade stopped for nothing short of “record-setting”. Aboard Custom Made Gun, Cade took victory at the 2019 The Run For A Million, marking a 229.5 and clinching the Co-Champion title in the show’s premiere year.
